I’ve always said the recession was going to hurt those under or close to the poverty line the most. A lot of social services budgets had to be cut.
Traveling all over the country has allowed me to see how much the recession has affected some areas. Yes, there have and always will be poverty in this country, but I’ve never seen it this bad before.
